Building a solid foundation...

The MarketCounsel Foundation is a philanthropic endeavor to provide financial and hands-on support to promote an understanding of the principles of market-based economics, personal financial independence, and entrepreneurship, particularly among young people and those with limited resources and opportunities as well as charitable efforts that are of significance to clients of MarketCounsel and the Hamburger Law Firm.

Borne out of a commitment to never again lose perspective and a true desire to do good while doing well comes the MarketCounsel Foundation.

"You have not lived until you do something for someone who cannot repay you."

I shared the story of the rapid growth of my consulting firm and law firm with another successful entrepreneur.  I referred to the constant adrenaline rush that building these companies gave me as a truly exhilarating effect.  His response was simple: "The entrepreneurial spirit is quite strong.  But you have not lived until you do something for someone who cannot repay you."
